Greetings to Palestinian President

Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA)

Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, sent a message of greeting to Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine, on Friday on the occasion of the year of the world solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The message said that world peace-loving people strongly denounce Israel's repeated military attack on Palestine and extend full support to the Palestinian people in their struggle.

The message wished the Palestinian president greater success in his responsible work, reaffirming the invariable support and solidarity of the DPRK for the Palestinian people in their just cause to retake all legitimate national rights including the right to build an independent state.

Friendship Meeting with Staff Members of Palestinian Embassy Held

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- A friendship meeting with staff members of the Palestinian embassy here took place at DPRK-Palestine Friendship Tongdaewon Senior Secondary School in Tongdaewon District on Thursday to mark the 26th anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Palestine and the year of the world solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Present there on invitation were Palestinian Ambassador to the DPRK Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan and staff members of his embassy.

On hand were officials of the DPRK-Palestine Friendship and Solidarity Committee and teachers and students of the school.

After being briefed on the school at the room dedicated to its history, the participants looked round its various places.

They enjoyed an art performance given by its students.

Greetings to Palestinian President

Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, sent a message of greeting to Mahmoud Abbas, president of Palestine, on Friday on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Palestine.

The message expressed the belief that the just cause of the Palestinian people to regain legitimate national rights including the establishment of an independent state by putting an end to Israel's occupation is sure to triumph and sincerely wished the Palestinian president fresh success in his responsible work.

Palestinian Diplomats Visit Jonsung Revolutionary Museum

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan, Palestinian ambassador to the DPRK, and a staff member of his embassy visited the Jonsung Revolutionary Museum on Wednesday on the occasions of the 26th anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Palestine and the year of world solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The guests laid a bouquet before the mosaic depicting President Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him.
They went round historic relics, being briefed on the undying feats Kim Il Sung, an outstanding strategist and invincible and iron-willed commander, performed by arousing the service personnel and people of the DPRK to win a great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Greetings to Kim Jong Un from Palestinian President

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, on October 10.

In the message the president said he was pleased to extend the sincere and warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the friendly Korean people on behalf of the State of Palestine and its people and on his own behalf on the founding anniversary of the friendly Workers' Party of Korea.

Kim Jong Un has realized the aim and aspiration of the friendly country and people of the DPRK, the message said.

It expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un for paying attention to realizing the just cause of Palestine to end occupation and build an independent state with east Kuds as its capital city, a peaceful and stable country keeping good neighborly relations with its surrounding countries, and for always supporting and extending solidarity to its just cause in international arenas.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and hoped that the historical relations of friendship and solidarity between the two countries and peoples would grow stronger.


Floral Basket to Kim Jong Un from Palestinian President

Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un received a floral basket from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the occasion of the 66th birthday of the DPRK.

The floral basket was handed over to DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong by Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan, Palestinian ambassador to the DPRK, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Friday.
