During Che Guevara`s first visit to Egypt, white settler zionist state attacked Gaza which had been under Egyptian administration. He visited gaza on June 18, 1959 walking around in Palestinian refugee camps, where he was welcomed with chants supporting the Cuban revolution.
Cuba welcomed the founding of the Palestine Liberation Organization, making official contact with it in 1965.
