PALESTINIAN MAN TELLS BANKSY TO "GO HOME"
Banksy also records on his website how an old Palestinian man said his painting made the wall look beautiful. Banksy thanked him, only to be told:
'We don't want it to be beautiful, we hate this wall. Go home.'

banksy painting his work on the wall has opened up news of the intifada to a whole new world of people who would otherwise be unlikely to have any interest/knowledge of intifada. these people are, of course, followers of the street art movement and there are a lot of them. also, banksy raised USD 1m from santa's ghetto in december 2007 in bethlehem.
